Renew Signature Massage
- A therapeutic massage that involves variations in touch and pressure. Custom techniques are used such as trigger point, myofacial release, kneading and compression modalities. These sessions aim to work out problem areas, while still maintaining a high level of relaxation. Essential oils and hot towels are often incorporated.
Hot Stone Treatment
- Warm stones are used as an extension of your therapists hands and are often glided across the body, to enhance relaxation and ease tension. Heat aides in bringing circulation and blood flow to muscle tissues at a deeper level, without the deep physical pressure experienced during a deep tissue massage.
Cupping
- Dynamic or stationary cups are used to create a suction that lifts the skin, connective tissues and muscles into the cup. This is essentially like an "inverted" massage. Cupping helps to improve circulation, increase oxygen to the muscles and tissues, draw out stagnation and toxins, and help relieve pain. Cupping can cause the skin to temporarily discolor or form petechiae. These marks are harmless and typically fade within a few days to a week.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage (MLD)
- Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage (MLD) utilizes slow, rhythmic strokes and very light pressure. The therapist follows lymphatic pathways while gently moving the skin and internal fluid towards the next lymph node station. The movements are done without oil or lotion and tend to put the client in a deeply relaxed state. Some clients have felt tired and may experience an increase in urine production after treatment, due to the cleansing effects.
